IODE 92nd anniversary

On May 5th, the Angela Bruce Chapter IODE Oakville celebrated their 92nd birthday—what a celebration it was!

Twenty two members gathered at The Mandarin Restaurant in Mississauga, a generous supporter of our chapter. A delicious lunch was enjoyed by all, followed by a stunning celebratory birthday cake.

Throughout the luncheon, stories from both the past and present were shared, bringing laughter, reflection, and joy.

It was a truly festive occasion, filled with gratitude for the incredible work our IODE Chapter has accomplished over the years.

We left the celebration feeling thankful for the legacy of service in our community and proud to be part of a group that has enriched so many lives.

MEMBER EVENTS

Approximately twenty of us attended at Theresa’s beautiful home and enjoyed being served refreshments and participating in Bingo games which were filled with lots of shouting and laughter. Some of us were winners and some of us losers, but overall, we were all winners because we raised over $500 towards our Chapter’s initiatives.
